Anna Hernandez
Anna proudly serves as State Senator for Arizona’s Legislative District 24, where she is the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, a member of the Senate Elections Committee, co-chair of the bicameral housing workgroup, and chair of the Arizona Legislative Latino Caucus. In her role, Anna has championed bipartisan solutions on issues that matter most to our communities—affordable housing, reproductive rights, mental health, community safety, and police accountability—while remaining steadfast in her values. Her leadership reflects a commitment to equity, justice, and the power of collective action.
Mariana Sandoval
Mariana believes education is the great equalizer—an essential tool for building sustainable futures and empowering communities. She is deeply committed to ensuring that safe, high-quality education is both affordable and accessible to all, regardless of socio-economic or immigration status. Mariana’s vision is rooted in the belief that when barriers to education are removed, individuals and communities can fully realize their potential and create lasting change.

Candidate Recruitment & Training
We don’t just mobilize voters—we grow leaders. Poderosa Academy identifies emerging leaders and equips them with the skills, tools, and mentorship to run for office and govern with accountability.
